While most students would be reluctant to talk about eating healthy, as many college students we have the added stress of going to college.

College is a time of stress, and eating a good meal will help you feel at ease and will give you energy throughout the day.

In fact, research has shown that the number one factor in keeping you healthy is sleep.

Lack of sleep has been shown to increase your risk of many diseases, including obesity and heart disease.

If you are going to be awake until midnight, like many college students, then you will have to eat at least four hours before you go to sleep.

This way, you are not taking in carbs right before bedtime.

Carbohydrates before bed can stimulate your insulin, and raise your blood sugar, which can be a dangerous combination.

Furthermore, a light, protein-rich breakfast will get you full and energized for the day. If you are not in a position to have an elaborate breakfast, then get your recommended servings of carbohydrates and proteins at lunch and dinner.

Studies have shown that people who eat carbs and proteins at dinner are more likely to stay awake.

Drink lots of water

It has been well documented that the H2O in water is actually superior to the H2O in soda and energy drinks.

The reason water is superior is that it is not dehydrating.

You will not get tired as quickly and you will be able to focus and enjoy your day without having to chug a bunch of soda or drink a pot of coffee.

Avoid caffeine before noon

While caffeine has some benefits, too much of a good thing is never a good thing.

Caffeine is an appetite suppressant and will cause your blood sugar levels to be higher.

Caffeine will also cause you to have feelings of anxiety and can make you more irritable.

Caffeine has also been linked to mental health issues, like anxiety and depression, and can cause severe kidney damage.

Many teenagers who consume caffeine show an increase in body weight when they drink more caffeine.

Get enough sleep

Getting a good night’s sleep is essential for your body to function at its best.

Not getting a full night’s sleep can leave you feeling tired and will give you problems focusing and remembering things.

Research has shown that sleep deprivation can impair your ability to retain information and that it can increase your stress levels.

If you have a hard time falling asleep at night, get into a routine where you go to bed at the same time and do not allow yourself to stay up too late.

Exercise is not just a sport that is done in the gym. It can be just as healthy and good for you when done at home.

You can increase your physical activity and your heart rate.

By incorporating a daily physical activity into your schedule, you will have a more positive outlook on life and you will have more energy to play and focus throughout the day.

Cut down on alcohol

Studies have shown that heavy drinking can lead to higher chances of death.

One study from the Harvard School of Public Health shows that alcohol consumption can increase the chances of developing liver cancer and heart disease.

While drinking does not cause your blood pressure to rise, it does have negative effects on your body.

Research has shown that heavy drinking causes an increase in anxiety.

There are some exceptions to the rule: If you are drinking alcohol in moderation (up to one glass of wine or beer a day for women and two for men), it does not cause you to have a higher heart rate or cause you to be stressed or anxious.

Try and eat more healthy carbohydrates

While eating junk food may be fun, it can also cause weight gain and other health issues.

When you have unhealthy eating habits, your body isn’t storing enough energy, and your body stores it in fat.

Not eating healthy foods and regular exercise can cause you to be overweight, even if you are healthy.

By eating healthier, healthier foods and exercising regularly, you will be able to focus throughout the day and you will have more energy to enjoy your life.

If you do not have time to cook at home, make sure that you have a salad or a fruit at least once a day.

Limit incentives

Pay yourself first. Not only is this a good financial tip, but it is also good for your mind.

When you are willing to give your money away instead of saving it, you are essentially telling your brain that there is no such thing as a savings account.

By saving your money, you will not have to spend the money to make the same purchases and you can use the money for other things instead.

It’s just like doing a little bit every day instead of just saving it for something special.
