Halloween cinnamon rolls

This is the first shot of food that i’ve taken in my new home.

Cinnamon rolls are a very easy treat to make at home and also provide your kids with a lot of calories to burn. Cinnamon rolls are baked in a round pan and so that they can be eaten with a knife and fork.

Because they are baked in a round pan they need to be cut into pieces. Some people think that they can’t be cut into pieces, but they can, but you should start by cutting off the big parts of the roll and freeze them.

After they thaw, you can slice them into pieces. It will take about one and a half to two hours to bake a batch of cinnamon rolls.

  • 2 boxes of cinnamon rolls (or enough dough to roll out two dozen)
  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

How to make:

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, mix together the sweetened condensed milk, butter and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, mix the cinnamon rolls dough. Using a roller attachment on your mixer, cream the mixture until it is soft and smooth. Place one roll at a time into the cinnamon mixture, rolling it around to cover it completely.

Cover the cinnamon roll with a plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 30 minutes to let it chill. After 30 minutes, take the rolls out of the fridge, flatten each roll with a rolling pin, then wrap each roll in plastic wrap and place them back in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Take the rolls out and place each roll on a parchment lined baking sheet. Allow them to rest for 10 minutes before placing them in the oven to bake for 25 minutes.
