“This was my first real contact with the world of programming.

Immediately, I understood that the magic happening in this field of data processing was the magic I wanted in my life.

That’s how my journey into Big Data began.”

This epiphany ignited a relentless pursuit of knowledge.

Roman embarked on an intense period of self-study, a grueling six months where he dedicated eight hours a day, without a single day off, to mastering the fundamentals.

This extraordinary commitment paid off swiftly.

“After six months, I received my first job offer,” he shares.

“Eight months later, I was offered the position of Trainee Big Data Engineer at SoftServe, and that happened in January 2023.

At that moment, my dream began to become a reality.”

His tenure at SoftServe has been marked by rapid growth.

He has logged over 500 hours of formal learning, leveraging the company’s extensive resources, including over 20,000 in-house and Udemy Business solutions.

Working on innovative projects alongside experienced teams, Roman’s expertise blossomed, leading him to become a mentor within SoftServe’s internal programs and for university students, actively contributing to the development of the company’s Big Data internship program.

Second, explore the job market.

Before diving deep, research.

Third, choose learning resources.
