However, the path to a nuclear-powered AI future isn’t without its bumps.

Uranium mining and waste disposal remain thorny issues, with environmentalists justifiably concerned about legacy contamination.

Wright, ever the optimist, mentions “creative ideas” for waste storage, hinting at a future where long-term solutions could be as innovative as the technology they support.

Politically, the nuclear agenda finds itself in an intriguing spot.

Past administrations, including those of Trump and Biden, have recognized nuclear’s potential in reducing greenhouse emissions and driving innovation.

Yet, bureaucratic red tape has often stifled progress, a point Wright is keen to address.

He envisions a future where private enterprise and public policy align to foster the development of next-generation nuclear reactors.

In Wright’s view, this is more than just energy strategy—it’s a national imperative.
