As Peter Chapman, CEO of IonQ, insightfully noted, “It’s going to be a classical system sitting next to a quantum computer, going back and forth.”

This symbiotic relationship between classical and quantum computing ensures that NVIDIA’s robust presence in the traditional computing hardware market remains secure, if not further bolstered by this new direction.

The journey into quantum computing is not without its hurdles.

Industry experts estimate that several years may pass before quantum computing products achieve tangible utility.
