The other day I received an email about a new business that was starting up, offering customized beer making classes via their website and app. They wanted to know if people would be willing to pay $100 to make some of their favorite beverages at home!
I have to admit, my heart kind of skipped a beat when I read the title of the article. Would people really do this for money?
Many experts agree that drinking alcohol in moderation is good for you, so why not help yourself and learn how to brew your own drinks? There are lots of ways to start brewing, and most recipes can be found online or through someone who teaches craft beers professionally.
Making your own drink creations is a fun way to refresh what types of beverages you like, and it’s a great way to save some cash! If you ever end up with extra ingredients, you can always just pour them into another bottle (or jar) and store them away until they’re gone!
There are many reasons why having a supply of fresh herbs and spices, as well as knowing where to buy inexpensive bottles of wine and liquor, is important. A beginner could start buying those things and learning how to use them, while more experienced drinkers may already have some items.
The first time you visit our event, we ask that you pay an entry fee of $15 per person.
There is not! That is, unless you are categorized as a professional brewer. If you fall into this category, then yes, you do need to pay an entry fee. But for the rest of us amateur brewers, it’s free to enter every event we would like to participate in.
That being said, some events have their own internal fees that must be paid. These can include things such as membership dues at a local brewing organization or participation in The Cicerone Certification Program.
But overall, culture brew exchanges are 100% free to enter and attend! It is even encouraged to register online ahead of time so you don’t waste any money by coming up during registration.

Even though there are some additional entry fees for certain events, you can still have your chance to win! All of our contests have a prize pool that includes a gift card or digital content for one of our brands or Amazon.com. If you entered a lot of different contests, then your cost per contest will drop!
The amount of money you spend does not determine whether or not you qualify for a prize since we give away almost every day of the year. Every person who enters a competition is eligible for a small cash award or an Amazon.
The first is for Best Indoor Setting, bested by the winner being awarded 1,000 points and a $25 gift card to Amazon or Target. They will be given to a bar that offers at least 30 unique beverages and has pictures of all of them.
The second category is For the Most Innovative Beverage, which gives winners 500 points and a $15 eGift Card to iAxe.com! Their winner will win either an IZZE VITAMIN C ELIXIR OR A MUG TUMBLING TEA BOWL with their fun and creative design.
In both cases, the drink must actually function as a beverage so it can be sipped and enjoyed.
There are many ways to donate to The Cultural Center of Palm Beach County! Some of our biggest supporters include: Chase, Florida Power & Light, Nationwide, State Farm, First United Bank, Flagler Medical Group, Royal Blue Health Systems, Stony Brook University Hospital, and more.
Many of these companies don’t just give us money, they also send representatives to events that help promote literacy, inspire students through education programs, or provide free services such as wellness classes for teens.

While there is no formal dress code at our events, we do ask that you bring an unworn pair of comfortable clothes to share with other attendees. We understand that some people may not be able to afford or are uncomfortable in lusciously expensive clothing so we have provided some helpful tips here!
