Productive efficiency refers to the utilization of available resources.
To be efficient at doing something, you need to have the best resources available to you and to have thought about the task at hand to maximize the output.
If you have a lot of plants and trees that are not in use, that’s productivity efficiency.
If you have a couple of employees who are using machines and tools to do their job to minimize costs, you’re probably working on productive efficiency.
The bottom line is: we can’t be efficient in every single aspect of our lives and we need to identify the areas where we can make progress.
Get rid of slacking
This is the most important step in becoming more productive, as slacking can easily take you from 10 hours of work a day down to 2 hours.
Slacking can be defined as anything you do instead of working.
For example, you could be reading a magazine for 10 minutes instead of doing your work. That could be productive, depending on the task.
