Productive efficiency refers to the utilization of available resources.

To be efficient at doing something, you need to have the best resources available to you and to have thought about the task at hand to maximize the output.

If you have a lot of plants and trees that are not in use, that’s productivity efficiency.

If you have a couple of employees who are using machines and tools to do their job to minimize costs, you’re probably working on productive efficiency.

The bottom line is: we can’t be efficient in every single aspect of our lives and we need to identify the areas where we can make progress.

Get rid of slacking

This is the most important step in becoming more productive, as slacking can easily take you from 10 hours of work a day down to 2 hours.

Slacking can be defined as anything you do instead of working.

For example, you could be reading a magazine for 10 minutes instead of doing your work. That could be productive, depending on the task.

If you need to complete a task, then it’s better to stop what you’re doing, get your laptop and get to work on that task.

This prevents you from being susceptible to procrastination and ensures that you are making an honest effort at your job.

Schedule a multi-tasking session

For those of you who are interested in getting more done, it’s often recommended that you complete a task with your laptop that can be completed in short, 10-minute bursts.

This is where multi-tasking comes in handy.

Each task should only take you 10 minutes, which means that you can spend 10 minutes working on one task, 10 minutes working on another task, and 10 minutes working on another task.

Sitting down and focusing on each task for 30 minutes may be challenging for some, but with practice, it’s possible to overcome this issue.

You can do this by creating a multi-tasking session on your calendar where you set aside blocks of time for completing each task.

Set realistic expectations

An unrealistic expectation is something that will always hold you back from achieving your potential.

Do not set yourself up for failure, and instead, set realistic goals and expectations for yourself and have faith that you will achieve them.

There’s a saying that states, “if you set a goal, even if you fail at it 5 times, keep going.”

Don’t lose heart, as that’s one of the best ways to stay motivated and keep going.

Less is more

One of the things that all successful individuals have in common is a simple principle that’s all about productivity: Less is more.

Avoid the trap of always trying to finish a task, as that’s a sure way to kill your productivity.

By doing that, you’re forced to focus on doing one thing at a time, which means you are not able to get distracted easily. It also means you have to create your own definition of productivity.

If you have a hundred people, try having one person take care of the needs of 100 people.

You can accomplish this by making a list of everything you need to take care of, and dividing that list into 100 separate tasks.

This means that each task has to be done within its own time frame, as well as within the amount of time allocated for that task.

Organize your time

To efficiently use your time, you need to organize your day.

This includes your tasks, which also include your calendar, and your tasks need to be organized in a way that you can achieve the highest efficiency with the time that you have available.

As a rule of thumb, you’ll probably need about 8-10 hours per day for your work, and try to work as efficiently as you can.

Take on a certain amount of tasks that need to be done each day, which means that you’ll need to stay focused and productive when working on those tasks, as well as not getting too distracted by daily or weekly activities.

Cut down on distractions

The distractions you give yourself also mean that you’re not able to concentrate fully on the task at hand, so you won’t be able to get the best results.

There are a few simple rules to follow when it comes to distractions:

The greater the importance of the task, the more critical it is to keep distractions away.

If you need to focus on something, or you are focused on something, put some sort of a barrier in between, such as earphones, a piece of paper, or a mask.

Set goals for the amount of time you need to complete a task and check your progress against these goals regularly.

This will help you keep track of how many tasks you need to complete each day, and if you’re on track.

Take breaks

Taking breaks helps you keep yourself from getting overly tired, and then you can’t focus as well and are more likely to get distracted.

Keep a small notebook or a small notepad, and at the end of each day, write down a few things that you accomplished for the day.

This will help you stay focused, and allow you to reflect on your performance throughout the day, and look for areas where you can improve.
